@accidentlyAnton For that first case with the labelled break, you could use a goto statement in C#!
Good writeup, and I'm glad you found a decent solution for the axis flip, that sounds like a nightmare.
@glomzubuk Indeed there is just goto in C#, I have no clue why I didn't just do that tbh. Maybe just to avoid the scary "goto" word, idk. Would probably use that if I did it today.
The axis flip is especially frustrating because a tilemap is something so simple and it would be trivial to change the way it renders if it was my own code, but here I'm so close and yet so far.
