@YinYinFalcon Agreed the bike is weird, but i'm more disappointed about the lack of details during exploration that mattered to me. In prime 1 & 2, wherever you go, wherever you look, there is trace of a past civilisation and history of the purpose of every place. All the last trailer showed was vast empty spaces, a few rooms with nothing notable, platforming in vast empty spaces, a single room that looks interesting, a throne and a cargo crane next to an antagonist.
@glomzubuk yeah I don't feel those are gonna be representative or that they really had much less than the average prime room, regardless of which one
I'd chalk that part up to the trailer editor not making great choices, which was already evident in the first one ("you can open doors!")
so that could be salvaged
doing awkward wheelies, slides and puny looking chase projectiles from the rear of a way too long bike (plus that taking the majority focus here)? not so much
@glomzubuk like I imagine the game is still very good
but I don't want this - and from comments it looks like the audience is split 50/50
@glomzubuk if the bike looked more like a thing she briefly steals from the pirates or something (there is reasonable precedence for that at least) and not your dedicated special loftwing™ to roam the empty overwold desert for the majority of the game I'd be up for it
@YinYinFalcon I'm assuming them putting a bike in is an attempt at targeting broader audience, judging by the fact there's now a bike as transportation method in many high profile licenses. I'm somewhat fine with that even if it doesn't cater to my taste, as long as the essence of what the series still live on next to it.
I'm not yet convinced it will based on what i am seeing for now.
@YinYinFalcon I guess it was yeah...
At least it's supposed to also release on switch 1, we'll see how it runs there
